About This Course

ISO 19011:2026 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems Upgrade Workshop (1 day) OVERVIEW The course combines the theory of the standard with practical experience, auditor psychology techniques, and applications from the automotive industry — comprehensive enough to qualify you for auditing any relevant management standard. What's New in ISO 19011:2026 The 2026 edition is an evolutionary revision — the core structure remains familiar, but the standard has been significantly updated to reflect how audits are actually conducted today. Remote & hybrid auditing — the most significant change; Annex A has been substantially expanded with practical guidance for conducting audits at a distance and managing virtual locations. Technology & digital evidence — auditor competence now explicitly includes ICT tools, electronic records, and digital collaboration platforms. Risk-based approach (strengthened) — greater emphasis on prioritising audit activities according to risk and organisational impact. Organisational context — expanded guidance on how auditors should evaluate the methods organisations use to determine and apply their context. Audit evidence & sampling — clearer criteria for the reliability and traceability of evidence, including evidence collected remotely. Auditor health, safety & security — new considerations for audit teams covering PPE requirements, emergency situations, and travel-related risks. Broader applicability — explicit support for combined audits across multiple management systems within a single organisation. TARGET AUDIENCE ISO Coordinators, Area Managers, Consultants, Internal Auditors, and students in Management, Engineering and other Administrative and Technical disciplines. Content Module 1: Principles of Auditing Module 2: Managing an Audit Program Module 3: Conducting an Audit — including remote and hybrid auditing (new in 2026) Module 4: Competence and Evaluation of Auditors — including digital tools and ICT proficiency (new in 2026).
