About This Course
ID961 VDA 6.8 Process Auditor Qualification CONTENT This training provides you with the basics for performing process audits in the supply chain in accordance with VDA 6.8, considering the process-oriented approach and customer-specific requirements for comprehensive application in the automotive industry. TARGET AUDIENCE • Employees from supply chain/QM departments who perform process audits in their own organization (internally). • Employees from supply chain/QM departments who perform process audits in the supply chain (externally). • External auditors (deployed as service providers) • Users/applicants of VDA 6.3 and Global MMOG/LE OBJECTIVES • You are familiar with the general requirements and fundamental principles of VDA 6.8. • You know how to use and perform the risk analysis (turtle) in a technically correct manner. • You are able to apply the questionnaire in practice using the process elements (L1–L7). • You know how to identify the relevant risks using the process audit, to point out potentials and ensure a reliable evaluation. • You are able to obtain and explain a comparable result on the basis of the evaluation system. • You are able to carry out process audits both internally and on the premises of your suppliers independently and in a technically correct manner. CONCEPT AND METHODS This training alternates between technical presentations, practical exercises, and case studies in order to support the transfer of what has been learned into your own working practice. Special emphasis is placed on opportunities to exchange experiences. PREREQUISITES FOR ATTENDANCE • Advanced knowledge of supply-chain processes, concepts and the associated risks (e.g. FMEA, turtle) • Proficiency in the application logistical IT solutions (software, hardware and hosting) • Knowledge of quality tools and methods (e.g. 8D, 5W, Ishikawa, PDCA) • Auditor qualification knowledge based on ISO 19011 (e.g. negotiation, conflict management, audit procedure, audit documents) • Knowledge of the relevant management system requirements (e.g. ISO 9001, VDA 6.2) • Knowledge of the relevant customer-specific requirements • At least three years of professional experience, of which at least one year should be in logistics-related activities CERTIFICATE OF QUALIFICATION After passing the test, the participants will receive a certificate of qualification. For in-person in-house courses, unless otherwise specified, pricing assumes the training will take place at the client's location and ht+a will not provide catering. The Client will ensure that the training room will be equipped with all necessary tools including flip charts, markers, video projectors/screens, appropriate furnishings and ample electrical outlets. Sustainability & Materials: - Delegates require an email address and a stable and active internet connection with suitable equipment (computer, smartphone or tablet) to access course materials and, where applicable, to complete online tests and join live video calls. - Printed course materials will not be provided, including for in-person or in-house events. Customers may print their course materials if desired. - ht+a no longer provides publications (textbooks) as part of the course fee. It is the customer's responsibility to procure any supplementary material either as an add-on from ht+a (payment is required in advance), OR from the VDA (https://shorturl.at/fbHJs) or the AIAG (https://shorturl.at/z73jg) directly (all corresponding shipping and duties will be for the customer's account). Due to copyright, ht+a does not provide digital copies of publications. - Digital certificates will be provided. Certificates for VDA QMC courses will only be issued once full payment is received. Certificates for ht+a courses will be automatically issued upon completion of course requirements. Customers may print their certificate if desired.
